The MarketFresh Schools program is a fun and engaging incursion that teaches students about fresh produce, including how different fruits and vegetables are grown, seasonality and the supply chain. Children are provided with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables to try while also leaning about their preparation, storage and uses.
The program can be tailored to suit junior or senior students including special schools, community groups and even corporate organisations. Sessions can cater for up to 70 students, and educators can present up to three sessions per day.
Each participating school student also receives a MarketFresh Activity Booklet to share what they have learnt with their family.
