Lunar New Year Lion Dance

We are excited to celebrate Lunar New Year at the Melbourne Market with a traditional Lion Dance walk around.

The Lion Dance will move throughout the Market, bringing colour, energy and good fortune for the year ahead. This special performance is a way to celebrate Lunar New Year with our market community and welcome prosperity, luck and success for 2026.

Time: 3.30am – 7.00am
Location: Throughout the Market, including the Trading Floor, National Flower Centre and Buyers' Walk.
